An effective design does not need to compromise simplicity. Our hedgehog concept of simplicity in the design of our shaker table was achieved through the standardization and easy manufacturability of the components within our shaker table. In addition, a user-friendly interface was implemented to ensure easy use for any technician. The design utilizes parts with nominal stock dimensions which simplifies manufacturing of our components, and nominal size screws to fasten our parts together, which ensures easy assembly and disassembly should parts need to be replaced after wear. While the components that our shaker table design is comprised of are easily accessible, very simple and cheap, our design is still IPX5 certified and can still operate under extreme temperature conditions.
